REGARD

An independent fashion editorial exploring gender and fashion as political language. Dress is never neutral: it sits between the private body and public rules, and REGARD reads clothing as a way of speaking.

Issue 01 (March 2026), “Together, Unlabelled,” explores gender-neutral fashion and body positivity through editorials, a moodboard, a seasonal trend forecast and style guides. It also includes interviews, and my own essay, “In My Regard: Fashion as a Language.”

About

Mind, narrative, material culture

I’m a final-year student in Bangalore, majoring in Psychology, Journalism and Literature. Journalism gives me the discipline of reporting and verification, literature gives me the close reading, and psychology helps me ask why people dress, buy and perform identity the way they do.

Beyond the page

Presented a paper at a National Seminar co-organised by Presidency College Bengaluru and IIPA. Planned and directed “Beneath the Mask,” a mental health awareness stage performance for a 360-degree audience.
